

The Chairman of the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI), Lilik Unggul Raharjo, attended a series of important cement industry events in Hefei, Anhui, China, organised by the China Cement Association in collaboration with Sinoma. These events served as a strategic opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and reaffirm a shared commitment towards a greener, smarter, and more sustainable cement industry transformation.
On 15 May 2025, the ASI Chairman also attended the opening of CEMENTTECH 2025 – the 26th International Cement Industry Exhibition, organised by the China Building Materials Federation, the China Cement Association, and the CCPIT Building Materials Sub-council. The exhibition featured over 120 participants from various countries across an area of 10,000 square metres. Various technologies were showcased, ranging from low-carbon solutions, smart equipment, environmentally friendly mining, to digital transformation. The spirit of innovation and sustainability demonstrated by the industry was highly inspiring.
On 16 May, the ASI Chair was one of the speakers at the CEMENTECH Cement International Forum 2025, sharing his views on the roadmap for decarbonising Indonesia’s cement industry and key steps towards net-zero emissions by 2050. On the same day, the Chairman of ASI also attended the 3rd Sinoma Cement Green & Intelligence Summit (SCGIS) with the theme “Green Intelligence Empowers Cooperation.” This forum served as an important platform for exchanging ideas among government officials, global industry leaders, and technical experts on green cement, CO₂ utilisation, and sustainable concrete technology.
The series of activities concluded on 17 May with a visit to Sinoma’s smart equipment manufacturing facility, where smart manufacturing technologies were demonstrated firsthand. This initiative serves as tangible evidence that the global cement industry is moving toward high efficiency aligned with sustainability principles.
